You can use Biolinky for free, but expect only the most basic link-in-bio features if you're not going to subscribe to a paid plan.
Key takeaways:
- Free accounts can only use a plain theme.
- The Pro plan costs $5.99 a month.
- Not all social profile links are supported (requiring a request to be sent).
- Basic analytics are available for non-paying users.
- Customer support responds within 1-2 days.
My curiosity about the growing number of link-in-bio tools led me to Biolinky. As someone always searching for platforms that could offer more than just basic functionalities and features, I was eager to see how this one measures up against the competition.
This review will unpack my personal journey with this platform, from the initial setup to its performance in action. So come and join me as I go through both the highlights and the setbacks.
So is it biolinky.co or biolinky.com?
Biolinky's official website is biolinky.co, although typing biolinky.com in the browser will also redirect you to the correct website. What I really don't understand about these platforms is their tendency to use uncommon domain extensions. For instance, consider Taplink's taplink.at and Linktree's linktr.ee.
Anyway, let's proceed with the registration part. As you can see from the screenshot below, there's a section where I can enter my preferred username and claim my Biolinky. After entering my desired username, it took me to the actual registration page.
Registration can be done via email or Google
Biolinky's registration page was very basic. I had the choice of signing up via the standard email address and password or by using my Google account, which is the faster option. Since I'm already signed in to Google, I decided to use this method.
The simplicity of Biolinky is a major draw for me. It's easy to set up and takes no time at all to get your essential content up and running. The modern layouts and user-friendly interface make it feel like a personal victory, or at minimum, that’s how it felt for me.
The need to choose a plan
Right after registration, I was immediately asked to choose a plan. My options were Free, Pro, and Plus. Given that my goal was to set up a basic link-in-bio page, the Free plan was the most suitable for me.
To know more details about their plans and how much each would cost, here's a table that I prepared including the monthly and yearly payments:
Biolinky Plan | Cost (Monthly) | Cost (Yearly) |
Basic | Free | Free |
Plus (ad-supported) | Free + Ads | Free + Ads |
Biolinky Pro | $5.99 | $59.99 |
As you can see from the table, the Basic plan offers enough features to get me started and create a good link. The Plus plan is ad-supported but includes some professional features. What's interesting about the Pro plan though is that it comes with a 2-month free subscription and the ability to cancel at any time.
Customizing my profile begins!
As soon as I finished choosing my preferred plan (the Basic one), I was taken to a page where I needed to customize my profile. This includes adding my profile name, a bio about myself or my company, and my profile photo.
There's also the option for me to display a verified badge, similar to Facebook and Instagram's feature, and to hide the Biolinky logo from my page. However, these two features I just mentioned are only available for upgraded accounts.
Themes are locked
Initially, I was excited to check out this platform's themes and layouts, only to find out that all of these are locked. It turns out these themes are only available for upgraded accounts, which means I am stuck with a plain theme. I was really disappointed with this. Why can other platforms like Hopp and Linktree offer free themes even for non-paying users, while this one can't?
Adding my links
Since I have no choice but to use a plain theme, that leaves me nothing else to do but add my links. This section is divided into 2: Links and Social Profile Links
Links
The links section is where I was able to add my websites and contact email. For each link, I can set it to be either of the following:
- Button link: A normal text button that includes a thumbnail.
- Tile link: A large image tile with a text overlay.
These are just small customizations which I learned to appreciate more, given that I am stuck with a plain theme.
Social Profile Links
This is located just below the Links section. Here, I noticed that I just need to select the social media platforms where I have an account and enter my profile links in the respective fields. At the time of this testing, the following social networks are supported:
- X (Twitter)
- Threads
- Tiktok
- Youtube
- Snapchat
- Spotify
- Twitch
- Github
- Telegram
- Discord
- Medium
- Tumblr
- Line
Now, I wondered what if I have an account with a social network that wasn't listed in the options? After scrolling down, I noticed a "Request a social platform" link where I can submit a Feature Request (you can click on the link to access this page). They can't immediately add my link, but it was good to know that they can accommodate such requests.
As simple as that, my Biolinky page is finished
There you go, my Biolinky page was fully set up in just a few minutes. The entire process was much faster compared to the same experience I had with other link-in-bio platforms I've tested. However, do note that this speed is due to the lack of available themes, which means I just needed to customize my profile and links, and that's it.
As you can see from the screenshot below, my profile is quite plain and lacks any visual elements because I am using the Basic account:
Now, was it ok on mobile? Well, it does look a bit better since my profile only has a few links and buttons, so it fits well on a smaller screen. On the desktop version, there's a lot of wasted space which could have been complemented by a nice background or color.

Analytics: basic data for free users, more details for upgraded accounts
Their analytics is probably the only consolation I could mention for the several setbacks I've encountered with this platform. Although it's not very detailed, they do provide basic analytics data, which is already useful for monitoring my page's performance. This includes page views, link clicks, and CTR for 1 day, 7 days, and 30 days.
If I want to gain more insights, an upgraded account is needed to access their comparative graphs per country, page views per country, and link clicks by popularity.
Customer support responses take around 1-2 days
Biolinky’s customer support was easy to contact, with only one caveat—response times might be slower since they don’t offer phone support or live chat. Communication can be done over email ([email protected]) or by sending direct messages on Telegram via their username @biolinky.co. Their website claims that they’ll respond to customer inquiries within 3 business days, but based on my personal experience, I was able to hear back from them within 1 to 2 days.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Offers a free account
- Quick sign-up process
- Can open an account using Google
- Can customize links as either buttons or tiles
Cons
- Basic users are stucked to use a plain theme
- Pro account is too expensive
- Cannnot get immediate customer support
- Requires sending a feature request to add an unsupported social profile link
My Verdict
To be honest, my experience using Biolinky wasn't really a good one. My expectations weren't very high from the moment I learned that I wouldn't be able to access their themes using my free account. After discovering that most of their features are exclusive to Pro subscribers, I quickly concluded that this platform wouldn't make it to my top list of choices. There are just too many restrictions; it's almost as if they're telling you to just subscribe to a paid plan. It pales in comparison to Hopp, Linktree, and Carrd, which are very generous in providing decent features even for their non-paying users.
